GUWAHATI: Taking the latest situation in the State into account, the Assam Rajyik Prathamik Shishak Sanmilani (ARPSS) had to cancel its scheduled dharna in front of DC offices in the State on Monday. It just sent a memorandum to the Prime Minister in support of its demand.
In a statement issued to the media on Monday, ARPSS president Jibon Chandra Bora and secretary general Ratul Chandra Goswami said that the ARPSS was supposed to stage dharna in front of all DC offices in the State and submit memorandum to the PM as directed by the Akhil Bharatiya Prathamik Shikshak Sangha. “However, since examinations are going on in the State now, the dhanra had to be cancelled,” they said.
