Assam Real Estate & Infrastructure Developers Association (AREIDA) to carry out plantation on AIIMS campus in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Assam Real Estate & Infrastructure Developers Association (AREIDA) will be taking part in a joint afforestation drive on the AIIMS campus in Guwahati. AREIDA will be taking care of the plantation as well as the maintenance of the trees on the campus. The project was formally inaugurated by Dr. Ashok Puranik, Executive Director of AIIMS, on World Environment Day. He lauded the organisation for the effort and ensured full support for it. AREIDA President P.K. Sharma mentioned that this institution was developing to be the pinnacle of medical services in the region and the importance of a clean and green environment. Several officials from both organisations took part in this meeting.
