GUWAHATI: The BJP Assam Pradesh has launched a widespread organizational campaign across Assam.

The party is working with a pledge to build a prosperous and inclusive Assam by strengthening party organizations at all levels across Upper and Lower Assam, Barak and Brahmaputra valleys, and the hills and plains. Assam BJP’s 6.5 million (65 lakh) karyakartas are contributing to this mission.

In a statement, BJP Assam Pradesh spokesperson Subhash Dutta stated that after the unprecedented victory in the recently concluded Gaon Panchayat and Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council elections, the party has begun reviewing its booth-level organization. Out of the state’s 29,656 booths, the party has been able to strengthen its organization in over 26,309 booths. The spokesperson added that BJP continues its efforts to further reinforce booth-level, shakti kendra, and mandal-level structures across all 39 organizational districts of the state.

To that end, from May 30 to June 15, district executive meetings will be held in all 39 organizational districts. In these meetings, Assam BJP president MP Dilip Saikia will attend meetings in Sivasagar, Charaideo, Darrang, North Kamrup, Udalguri, Dima Hasao, and Tamulpur.

In the next phase, BJP Assam Pradesh has also decided to organize mandal executive meetings across 433 mandals in the state from June 15 to June 25.

Dutta mentioned that districts with autonomous councils will have special discussions on the current political landscape during their district executive meetings.
