GUWAHATI: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) has announced the results of the written examination conducted for TET-based teacher recruitment in secondary schools on May 30.

The cut-off marks for the second question paper have also been published. A total of 13 subjects were included, and cut-off marks have been announced for categories like Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST Hills), Scheduled Tribes (ST Plains), Other Backward Classes (OBC/MOBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), along with the general category.

The Directorate of Secondary Education will issue admit cards to the eligible candidates for the interview phase. These admit cards can be downloaded from the directorate’s website by entering the registered phone number. Interviews will be held for candidates who have passed the written exam.

Interviews will be conducted in 10 districts: Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Cachar, Nagaon, Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup, Barpeta, and Bongaigaon. The interviews will be held from June 3 onwards. In case a candidate has applied for multiple subjects, the interview for the second paper will also be conducted at the same district.

This recruitment process was conducted for a total of 1,485 teacher posts. The examination was held in one phase on January 19. The written exam was conducted across 27 centres in the state. The Directorate of Secondary Education had conducted the recruitment exam under the state government’s education department. A total of 8,200 candidates appeared for the written examination.
