Assam: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal Urges Youth to Commit Fully to Nation-Building

Guwahati: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal participated in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Rozgar Mela initiative from Guwahati on Saturday, distributing appointment letters to newly recruited candidates and urging them to dedicate themselves to the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Speaking at a ceremony held at Kar Bhawan, Sonowal congratulated the 207 successful candidates who received appointment letters for various Union Government organizations, including the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Assam Rifles, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Oriental Insurance Company Ltd (OICL), Central Water Commission (CWC), Bank of Baroda (BoB), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), and the Department of Posts.

“Today, as you join India’s esteemed workforce through your merit, talent, and hard work, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and your families,” Sonowal said. “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s visionary leadership, India has entered an era of rapid development and global recognition. As soldiers of progress, you must serve the nation with devotion and pride.”

The minister emphasized the importance of safeguarding India’s cultural heritage, upholding dignity, and strengthening the nation to face global challenges with confidence.

Sonowal further stated, “Each appointment letter you receive today represents the trust that India places in its youth. As we aspire to become the world’s leading economic power over the next 25 years, your role is crucial. Guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, we must advance together.”

He urged the newly appointed candidates to work with discipline, dedication, and a deep sense of service to help transform India into a stronger and prouder nation on the global stage.
