Assamese Film Actor Niren Sharma Caught With Drugs At Uzan Bazaar

GUWAHATI: Latasil police conducted a raid at the residence of noted Assamese film actor Niren Sharma at Siddhartha Apartment, Uzan Bazaar. The police authorities caught Sharma along with four others, Himangshu Hazarika from Malibagan, Uzan Bazaar, Siddhartha Medhi from Malibagan, Uzan Bazaar, Ibrahim Ali from Uzan Bazaar and Mahendra Nath from Morigaon in possession of illegal drugs. 40 empty containers, 11 drug filled containers and 2 chilim have been recovered from their possession. A case (169/19) have been registered against them. They have been produced before court and sent to judicial custody.
