Award for teenaged author Taposhree Baruah

GUWAHATI: Taposhree Baruah, a 19-year-old author from the city, was awarded the title of 'Young Adult Author of the Year' by Ukiyoto Publishing, a German publication company on December 3 at Vivanta Taj, Guwahati for her book 'Pen Down'.

'Pen Down' is a first of its kind book in the entire North-East wherein thought-provoking collection of quotes that addresses a range of human emotions, conflicts and realization have been penned down. Every reader after reading the book will relate to at least one quote that resonates with his or her life.

The book in English is available for purchase at Amazon and Flipkart, stated a press release.
