Awareness on Green Diwali held in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: In order to promote awareness about Green Diwali among the residents of Guwahati, a drive was organised by the Eco Club of Arya Vidyapeeth College on Monday. Volunteers from the college participating in the drive enacted street plays at eight points in the neighbouring areas and more than 500 families were reached by this drive. The drive was launched from the Arya Vidyapeeth College gate in the presence Principal, Pradip Kumar Bhattacharyya and others.
