Baby elephant stuck in the wetlands of Deepor Beel rescued

GUWAHATI: A 12-hour rescue operation was conducted for a pachyderm that was stuck in the wetlands of Deepor Beel since Thursday. The baby elephant’s rescue operation started at 6 am on Friday by Forest officials and an NDRF team.
