Receiving the information, Bharalumukh police rushed to the spot and took Abdul Ali. Kothari lodged an FIR, leading to the registration of a case (289/19 under section 392/427 of IPC).

The police conducted a raid last night and arrested the other two – Binod Saikia and Pinku Das. While Binod hails from Kamakhya Gate, Pinku is from the Kali Mandir area.
