Bindu Smart To Organize Lakhimi Bowari Competition from September 19

GUWAHATI: With the aim to provide a platform to the women for showcasing their hidden talents, the Lakhimi Bowari Competition IV, 2020 organized by the non-governmental organization Bindu Smart will be held with a two-day-long programme on September 19 and September 20, 2020.

Addressing the media in a press meet held at Guwahati Press Club on Tuesday, Secretary of Bindu Smart Malabika Choudhury said, “With the aim to empower the married women, we have been organizing the Lakhimi Bowari competition since 2014. We are going to organize it for the fourth time in the year 2020. Our basic goal is to provide platform to the women to showcase their talents.”

The organizer said that the application for the competition has already been released through the Bindu magazine and the competition will be held in three phases. All house wives will be able to take part in Lakhimi Bowari Competition IV. In the first phase, there will be a written competition followed by an oral competition in the second phase and finally the best 10 competitors will be able to take part in the final competition which will be held on September 19. The organizer informed that interested people can collect the application form from its official website www.bindusmart.org
