GUWAHATI: Biometric attendance will now be made compulsory for the employees of the Assam Legislative Assembly Secretariat.

The Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly has directed biometric attendance punching machines to be installed for the employees soon. In this regard, the Additional Secretary, Assam Legislative Assembly Secretariat, has asked all employees to complete the biometric registration process from November 26, 2021, to December 4, 2021.
