Biopic on Deepali Borthakur, Neel Pawan Baruah

GUWAHATI: The life story Deepali Borthakur and Neel Pawan Baruah are soon going to acquire another dimension, as it is going to be recreated on the big screen in the form of a biopic.

Addressing a Press Meet at Guwahati Press Club in the presence of Neel Pawan Baruah, the team behind the project announced, “We have acquired the rights of Deepali Borthakur and Neel Pawan Baruah’s sensitive and artistic life story for a full- length feature film, and we are in the process of raising funds for the project.”

Producers of the project are Mandakini Goswami, Amit Malpani and Sanjib Dey. The team informed the media that research work has been completed and scripting in being currently done. Amit Malpani said, “We hope to start shooting the film towards the end of this year or the first half of next year.”
