GUWAHATI: The mass joining programme where more than 70 leaders joined the Congress organized at Rajiv Bhawan is criticized by the state BJP. The state BJP spokesperson, Manoj Baruah, said, “The joining ceremony was not the slightest reflection of the campaign conducted by Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) leaders and President Bhupen Bora before the joining ceremony. This joining ceremony would create a huge political storm in Assam, but then it became a laughing stock. Therefore, the BJP has criticized Bhupen Bora for failing to screen whatever was campaigned.”
