BJP initiates ‘Feed the Needy’ programme to provide rations around 4,000 families

GUWAHATI: The State BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has initiated “Feed the Needy” program to provide rations to around 4,000 needy families in every constituency, who have been affected by the lockdown. The programme comes under the campaign ‘Sahayog’. The BJP will identify the families with the help of local MPs, MLAs, Panchayat Elected Representatives and Representatives of Civic Body. President Ranjit Kumar Dass appealed to every party worker to contribute Rs. 100 to the PM Care Fund. He added that there are 25,000 workers in every constituency. It may be mentioned here that the party has appointed various in charges who will look after the constituency where there is no BJP MLAs.
