Body recovered from Basistha River at Guwahati

GUWAHATI, July 30: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) recovered a body of one identified as Shankar Sarma (45) from the Basistha River on Monday.

A pretty vendor by profession, Shankar was drown to the river while he was trying to retrieve some of the commodities stored in his shop which fell into the rainwater.
