Book On Medical Education And Facilities Released

GUWAHATI: A book titled Uttar Purbanchalar Swasthya Sewa aru Shiksha: Otit aru Bartaman by Dr. B.R. Bhuyan, the doyen of Dental Education of Assam and founder of Regional Dental College, was recently released. The book is on medical education and facilities from pre-independence time in Assam, which has been published by Lawyer’s Book Stall. The book was released by former president of Axam Xahitya Xabha Kanak Sen Deka amidst the presence of renowned citizen of the city. Deka said, “The book has covered all aspects of medical education and facilities that have been available since the first decade of the twentieth century till the present day. The book is an important historical document that has documented the scenario of medical education in a methodical manner.”
