
GUWAHATI: The Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival (BVFF) continued its celebration of cinematic excellence on Day 2, featuring an impressive line-up of film screenings, discussions, and industry sessions. The day's cinematic journey began with the India premiere of Chabila, a Hindi feature film by Anil Amrut Bhalerao. It was followed by screenings of Mithya, Jibonsobi, and Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds, a visually stunning French animated feature film.
The documentary section offered thought-provoking narratives with Jyoti Kokaideu, Two Trains, and Zende: The Supercop. One of the day's highlights was a memorable BVFF Reel Talk session with iconic filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, known for masterpieces like Paan Singh Tomar and Gangs of Wasseypur.
The industry sessions on Day 2 offered valuable insights and inspiration for aspiring and seasoned filmmakers alike. Film critic and journalist Rajeev Masand, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi, and producer Dimpy Agrawal shared their expertise on various aspects of filmmaking, including talent management, multilingual performances, and producing for first-time producers, stated a press release.
