Burmese areca nuts seized at Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: Government Railway Police on Sunday seized a huge consignment of Burmese areca nuts worth over Rs 50 lakh at Guwahati Railway Station on Sunday. A total of 40 sacks and one box full of areca nuts were seized from one bogey of Rajdhani Express. The seized nuts were smuggled from Dimapur.
