A buyer-seller meet of handloom products made by the SHG (Self Help Group) members of the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM) was organized in association with technical partners ACCESS at NEDFi, Guwahati on Friday.

GUWAHATI: A buyer-seller meet of handloom products made by the SHG (Self Help Group) members of the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM) was organized in association with technical partners ACCESS at NEDFi, Guwahati on Friday.

The meet envisages to bring the traditional rural weavers/handloom producer groups closer to sellers across the country for long term marketing opportunities and value additions of different handloomproducts.

The meet was inaugurated by ASRLM State Mission Director Krishna Baruah in the presence of Deputy General Manager of NEDFI Asim Kumar Das, Access Development Services' Suvendu Rout, along with a host of entrepreneurs, and representatives of marketing agencies, stated a release.
