CAA protest: CID grills Youth Congress president Zubair Anam

GUWAHATI: In a case that was registered during the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) movement, the CID grilled Assam Pradesh Youth Congress President Zubair Anam on Thursday.

According to sources, a case (30/2019 u/s 120(B)/121(A) 122/123/143/ 147/184/150/151/153/153(A), 326/333/353) was registered by the CID on the incident that took place in front of Janata Bhawan during the CAA agitation.

After half an hour of grilling, Zubair was allowed to go. After coming from the CID, Zubair alleged in front of the media that it is a conspiracy to stop the youth rally, which will commence from October 3.
