Census 2021: Four-day training of field trainers begins in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A four-day training programme for field trainers commenced at the Conference Hall of Kamrup Metro Zila Parishad, here on Wednesday.

The training is being held in view of the Census 2021, which will start from April 20. A total of 43 Field Trainers participated in the program where they were taught various aspects to work during the conduction of the Census. The program was inaugurated by ADC (Additional Deputy Commissioner) Bipul Kumar Das. He briefed the Field Trainers about the upcoming Census and their roles and responsibilities during it. The first phase of the Census will be held from April 20 to May 20. Officers from the Directorate of Census Amballika Khound and Nanju Englary were also present at the program. On February 28, a similar training program was held for the Charge Assistants and Technical Assistants who will participate in the Census 2021.
