Citizenship (Amendment) Act: Akhil Gogoi Detained by Panbazar Police

GUWAHATI: A protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act was carried out near the DC office on Friday. The agitation was led by Akhil Gogoi, where 60 organizations participated. An awareness campaign was also conducted at the protest site. Gogoi was later detained by Panbazar police for instigating the remonstration.
