Civil Services Day Observed At Sewa Bhawan

GUWAHATI: The Assam Civil Service Officers’ Association (ACSOA), along with the Retired Assam Civil Service Officers’ Association (RACSOA), observed the Civil Services Day on Sunday.

In the programme at Sewa Bhawan, Dispur the associations felicitated retired senior bureaucrats Bhaskar Baruah, Jatin Hazarika, Ajit Borkakaty and Surendra Kumar Barua for their lifelong dedicated service to the government and society at large. Bhudhar Phatowali, who could not attend the function due to ill health, was felicitated in his residence by Ashok Kumar Barman, President of ACS Officers’ Association along with a few other members of the Association. The retired senior bureaucrats spoke on their experiences while in service.
