Coal-laden truck catches fire at Nepali Basti near Jorabat

Dimoria: A truck loaded with coal was gutted in flames after it rammed into a divider, at Nepali Basti area near Jorabat on NH37 on Sunday. The accident occurred after the truck bearing registration number - AS01HC5312 was travelling from Dimaoria, Tinsukia to Guwahati. The accident occurred after the driver lost the vehicle’s control due to a tyre burst. The driver and the handyman fled the spot and later the fire tenders doused the flames.
