DC Jha reviews schemes' implementation

GUWAHATI: An important discussion was held on Friday at the office of Kamrup (M) deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha regarding implementation of various schemes under the Scheduled Tribes Development Council, the Scheduled Castes Development Council and the Other Backward Classes development Council. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officials concerned to ensure that genuine beneficiaries are not deprived during implementation of various Government schemes.

Jha further directed that receipts received from beneficiaries should be appended with a report which is to be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner and the department concerned.

Among other, the meeting was attended by sub-divisional welfare officer in-charge Suswapna Kakoti and chairpersons and members of the three development councils.
