Departments to hold Ambubachi Mela after a gap of two years

GUWAHATI: The Health Department, the Kamrup (M) District Administration, the police, the Ambubachi Mela Committee and other departments concerned are ready to hold the Ambubachi Mela after a gap of two years.

Official sources said that authorities would take all precautionary healthcare measures during the mela slated from June 22-26. Doctors will be on duty round the clock and provide medicines free of cost. The Health Department would develop the Pandu FRU and the Kamakahya State Hospital to provide the best medical services during the mela.
