Dhemaji blast victims recalled by Kamrup (M) District Administration

The Kamrup (M) District Administration observed 'shok divas' (mourning day) on its office premises

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup (M) District Administration observed 'shok divas' (mourning day) on its office premises in memory of the children and other citizens who had been killed in the explosion at Dhemaji on August 15, 2004.

At a meeting presided over by ADC Bipul Kumar Das, the officials observed one-minute silence praying for eternal peace of the deceased. They also pledged to fight out ominous elements in society. The ADC administered the oath to this effect to the officials.
