Dispur Press Club distributes essential goods among scribes in view of COVID-19 outbreak

GUWAHATI: The Dispur Press Club (DPC) along with assistance from the Ajmal Foundation distributed essential goods among the journalists engaged in different media houses of the city on Saturday. In view of the critical situation faced by many journalists engaged in different media houses due to lockdown, the Dispur Press Club distributed the essential goods at the JAFA office in Bhetapara. Each of the relief packs contains rice, lentil, sugar, oil, soap, biscuits etc. The Ajmal Foundation has supplied the goods to the DPC.

The DPC also distributed face masks and sanitizers among the journalists at the programme. The face masks were supplied by the Down Town Hospital, GNRC Hospital, BJP Guwahati (M) Committee and the Excise department of the Assam Government.
