District Administration Felicitated NGOs for Social Service during Ambubachi Mela

GUWAHATI: The various NGOs and bhandars that served free food and beverages to the devotees during Ambubachi Mela in June this year were felicitated by the District Administration on Friday at the DC office conference hall. A total of 18 organizations served food while 44 others served drinking water during the days of the mela. Each of them was given an award and a citation for their social service.
