Drugs seized, one arrested in Guwahati

A West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) team from Gorchuk Police Station led by Gorchul OC Satyen Hazari seized one soap case of heroin weighing 11.79 gm, 1.4 kg of ganja, and three empty vials on Friday.

GUWAHATI: A West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) team from Gorchuk Police Station led by Gorchul OC Satyen Hazari seized one soap case of heroin weighing 11.79 gm, 1.4 kg of ganja, and three empty vials on Friday. The team arrested Rita Boro of Katabari Pahar. The seized items were recovered from her tamul pan shop near ISBT.
