Early Childhood Education Conference held at NEDFI HOUSE Auditorium

GUWAHATI: A crowd of over 200 came together on Sunday, at NEDFI HOUSE Auditorium to attend Northeast India’s 1st Early Childhood Education Conference and Pinnacle Education Awards 2019, organized by the Early Childhood Development Forum (ECDF) (an initiative of the DN Acharya Foundation for Children and Women Welfare), with the theme “The future is today, creating next generation doers”. The Education Minister of Assam Siddhartha Bhattacharya and Dr. Dnyaneshwar Manohar Mulay Member at the Human Rights Commission were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour for the Event. Early Childhood National Conference and Awards, 2019 had over 18 speakers from all over India that ranged from Early Childhood Educators, Principal of Schools, Edupreneurs, Doctors and many more.

Some of the topics of the conference included: The importance of quality education in the Early Childhood Years, Mental Health in Early Years, Socio-Emotional Learning, Moral Education, Bullying at school, importance of moral education, to name a few.

As per a press release, ECDF launched its first edition of their journal ‘EdCLAN’, Empowering Educators, Nurturing Young Minds, their first footstep towards creating a platform for the educators and resource for the educators and stakeholders to lead towards a better tomorrow. Ms. Nellie Ahmed Tanweer was awarded for her Exemplary Contribution in the Domain of Education.
