Educational streetplay around city by Guwahati Municipal Corporation

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Municipal Corporation organized several street plays in Guwahati on Tuesday. The plays were organized in front of Cotton University, Uzanbazar, Ganeshguri and Megha Plaza. These plays are organized on the theme of Waste Management and Waste Segregation and as a part of “I love Guwahati” campaign. These plays aim to create awareness amongst general public about cleanliness and hygiene.

Speaking on the occasion, GMC Commissioner Monalisa Goswami said, “We hope that these initiatives that we are taking to create awareness amongst the public, bears fruit and the people take up the motto of cleanliness seriously”. The plays would also be organized tomorrow, which is February 6, 2019 in Adabari ,Maligaon ,Sarabbhati ,Hedayatpur and Six Mile.
