Enforcement Directorate (ED) Seizes 47 bighas of land

GUWAHATI, Aug 31: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has ceased 47 bighas of land at Medhi Kuchi near Sonapur on Friday which was owned by the Sharda Group. According to a source, earlier, the Sharda Group purchased the land areas from one Padum Borthakur. Allegedly, after the arrest of Sharda Group Chairman Sudipta Sen, the large plot was encroached by one PK Sarma.
