Ex-IGP of Assam Police Nawab Imdad Hussain no more

GUWAHATI: Nawab Imdad Hussain, ex-Inspector General (IGP) of Assam Police, breathed his last here on Friday at the age of 71 years.

He leaves behind an illustrious legacy of dedicated police service in Assam. He was awarded the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2010. He was laid to rest with police honours. He is survived by his wife and two children.
