GUWAHATI: Bharalumukh police arrested an ex-student of Pragjyotish College yesterday on the charge of taking money illegally in the name of examination form fill up.

HS First Year Examination commenced today, and it has come to light that some students have still not received their admit cards and registration certificates. Meanwhile, the miscreant was taking advantage of it.

According to police sources, the Principal of Pragjyotish College had registered a case at Bharalumukh Police Station, and after it, the police arrested the student named Dipankar Das in the college premises. The student had already collected money from 12 students for examination form fill up. But now he has been sent for judicial custody by the court of CJM.
