Fake Doctor Pretending to be a Dermatologist Arrested by Jalukbari Police

GUWAHATI: The Jalukbari police on Thursday arrested a fake doctor who was running chambers in various areas of the State. The accused — Amit Kumar, a resident of Bihar, had set up chambers at Maligaon Gate no. 1, Ulubari, and Gauhati Club here. He also had chambers at Tangla and Bongaigaon.

According to police, Kumar was pretending to be a dermatologist. The police have seized a 4-wheeler vehicle and several medicines and equipment from his chambers. He has been arrested under a case (640/2021) registered at the Jalukbari Police Station.
