Fancy Bazar Police arrests fraudster in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Fancy Bazar Police arrested a fraudster on Saturday for stealing money while acting as cops. Tarun Dutta, a resident of Kamakhya Gate, allegedly pretended to be a police officer and a GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) officer demanding money from street vendors at Fancy Bazar. Several complaints have reportedly been filed against Tarun for allegedly demanding money from numerous people. He used to loot money from small businessmen.
