Ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati suspended

GUWAHATI: Ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati will be suspended from 9 am to 11:30 am on Tuesday due to an air show by the Indian Air Force (IAF). The programme is held as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. The air show will comprise a spectacular flying performance by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) of the IAF. The event will take place at the Lachit Ghat here at 10 am.

It may be noted that Wing Commander Rupam Bordoloi, who hails from the city, is also in the squadron. Suryakiran is an aerobatics demonstration team of the IAF. The SKAT was formed in 1996 and is a part of the 52nd Squadron of the IAF.
