Finance Department of Assam directs treasury offices to release salaries

The Finance Department of Assam instructed all the treasury offices to pass the bills relating to salary, pension, wages and grant-in-aid salary only for the month of March from April 6.

GUWAHATI: The Finance Department of Assam instructed all the treasury offices to pass the bills relating to salary, pension, wages and grant-in-aid salary only for the month of March from April 6. The department also informed that the state government employees will get 40% DA (Dearness Allowance) along with the monthly salary.
