FIR against State NSUI vice president Zubair Anam

GUWAHATI: An FIR has been lodged at Latasil Police Station against NSUI State vice president Zubair Anam for allegedly assaulting NSUI national coordinator Delhi State RTI Cell, Ritam Singh, on Sunday.

Singh has lodged the FIR under case number 74/2020 under Section 143,325,506 of IPC. He alleged that Anam along with a mob of 15 to 20 people brutally thrashed him and threatened him while he was attending an NSUI event. He stated that Anam and his accomplices thrashed him for his social media posts criticizing the latter.
