Fit India Freedom Run conducted to observe Gandhi Jayanti

H S Yadav, Chief Administrative Office-I, N F Railway, Construction Organisation led the campaign in which all the officers and a large number of employees took part with great enthusiasm in order to maintain their fitness and to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc.

Earlier, Yadav administered Swachhata pledge to staff and officers of the headquarters and addressed the gathering where he said that keeping cleanliness is not the responsibility only of safai karamcharis or the government but of all the employees and officers, stated a release.

Yadav appealed to employees, officers and their family to implement the vision and philosophy behind Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan launched by the Prime Minister of India to abandon single used plastic and to maintain hygiene and sanitation in the railway premises.

He further appreciated the contribution of staff for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene in their respective area though that was very big challenge. He further said that Swacchta should become a social movement and awareness about cleanliness and sanitation should reach every corner of railway colonies as well as in railway premises. Speaking on the occasion he added that cleanliness and sanitation should not be a one-time activity but should become a part of our daily life.
