Five shops gutted at Bhangagarh, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Five shops were gutted in a fire at Bhangagarh here on Thursday. Eight fire tenders doused the fire. According to sources, the fire started due to leakage of LPG from a fast food shop and the fire soon engulfed the area. An old sweet shop – Gunjon – has been totally charred in the fire. The owners of the shops claimed to have lost property worth lakhs of rupees.
