Foundation Day of Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship celebrated in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati under the Ministry of Skill Development and Enterpreneurship, Government of India, celebrated its glorious 28th Foundation Day in its premises on April 28 and 29, stated a press release. The event was attended by Dr Sanjive Narain, Managing Director, AM Television and Dr Samudra Gupta Kashyap, State Information Commissioner, Assam as Guest of Honour. Along with aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, the event was also graced by representatives of various promotional organizations.

Speaking at the event, Dr Samudra Gupta Kashyap lauded the immense contribution of IIE towards creating a huge pool of first-generation entrepreneurs in the region. Dr Kashyap also recalled the pioneering contributions of freedom fighter and first Indian tea planter Maniram Dewan and suggested celebrating his birthday in April 27 together with the foundation day of IIE and called for establishing his statue at IIE.
