Foundation Day of Physics Academy of Northeast At Assam Don Bosco University

GUWAHATI: The 21st foundation day celebration of Physics Academy of North East (PANE) will be organised by the Physics Department, Assam Don Bosco University, in collaboration with PANE, on April 6, in the auditorium of Academic Block I of the university.

Prof Biswarup Mukhopadhaya of HRI, Allahabad, will deliver a lecture on “There are more things in heaven and earth: the quest for new fundamental laws of physics.” As part of the celebration, while the current issue of PANE e-newsletter will also be inaugurated during the programme. There will be formal handing over of the charge of PANE to the new executive board, formed for next two years. Faculty member, scientists, research scholars and students from different institutions of Northeast India are expected to be present to celebrate the occasion.
