Fraud arrested by Satgaon police in Panjabari, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Satgaon police arrested a youth, Uttam Dey, on the charge of defrauding people with the promise of ensuring jobs in the NF Railway. The youth, according to the police, identifies himself as a close aide of a minister. He took cash with the promise of ensuring jobs in the railway from many people, including a woman of Kooch Behar, in September 2018. He was arrested from his residence at Panjabari on Friday night. The police registered a case (354/19) against him.
