Ganja & phensedyl bottles seized by BSF in bordering areas
GUWAHATI: In two different operations, troops of Border Security Force under Guwahati Frontier seized 20 kgs ganja and 187 bottles of phensedyl in the bordering areas of village Nagar Singimari and village Kaiterbari under Coohbehar district, while these contraband items were being smuggled from India to Bangladesh.
The Ganja was seized by Border Out Post Fulbari, of 47 Bn BSF, under Guwahati Frontier, from an area of village Nagar Singimari.
In a separate operation, troops of Border Out Post Sabri, of 100 Bn BSF, under Guwahati Frontier, seized 87 bottles of Phensedyl in village Kaiterbari under Coochbehar district. According to a release, the seized items were handed over to Sitalkuchi and Sitai police stations respectively for further legal action.
