Gas Leak at IOCL Bottling Plant in North Guwahati

In a sensational incident, a gas leak was reported at the LPG bottling plant of Indian Oil in North Guwahati on Thursday evening, October 24. As per reports, there was some maintenance work being carried out following which the leak occurred.

But, there is no official statement as of now. The officials issued a warning and evacuated the staff from the plant immediately and no causality has been reported.

An employee of the plant said there was a gas leak for about an hour. For more than an hour panic gripped in the surrounding area as the gas leaked as per reports. The officials are yet to reveal the reason behind the incident.
