Gauhati Commerce College to organize national level online essay competition

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati Commerce College has taken an initiative to organize a national level online essay competition in view of the lockdown situation.

A press release issued by the Gauhati Commerce College stated that the initiative has been taken by the M.Com and B.A department. The topic for the competition is – Impact of COVID-19, the Global Pandemic on Indian Industry Trade and Commerce.

The release further says that the faculty members of GCC are putting continuous effort to boost up the creativity of the students amidst the lockdown. Around 70 faculties are continuing their teaching service through digital mediums like Zoom and WhatsApp. The students will have to submit their essay before May 20 at gcconlineevents@gmail.com and the result for the same will be declared on June 1. The maximum word limit for the competition is 1,000 and the first three winners will be awarded with prize money of Rs. 10,000, Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively.
