Gauhati HC issues notice: PIL on CCE 2013 organised by APSC

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court has served a notice to the Assam Government regarding a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) pertaining to the discrepancies in the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 organised by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). The PIL 45/2023 based on which the notice was served was filed by Pritom Hazarika and Jon Jyoti Sarmah on behalf of ‘Fight against the injustice of APSC’. The main prayer of the mentioned PIL was to promptly act upon and implement the inquiry report submitted by Justice B.K. Sharma’s Commission of Inquiry in respect of anomalies and malpractices pertaining to CCE 2013 on 02-04-2022, and to make the report of the Judicial Inquiry Commission public.
